Marie snarled as the dog managed to dodge her attack. She would try to show less of her attack before using it. The dog cursed, why? Backup? Turning her head slightly Marie noticed another infected dog. Growling she called to it, "Stay away, this is my dog." Attempting to warn it off.
Without facing the uninfected dog again she lunged at it. Her new tactic would be to tire it out since it seemed to be fast.

Umbra stopped at few foot from the two dogs. The scent of fear was absolutely fantastic now the uninfected one had seen her... she began to pant slightly, letting her white tongue and her fangs tainted by her bleeding black gums showing. "I am away", she mockingly grinned at the infected female. "Why would i play with your dog anyway, it seems that she's a little broken, and i don't play with broken toys", she sniffled. The uninfected one apparently had something wrong with her paws, and was about no game to her, not even really interesting. "But something else might be game enough to be interesting", she snorted, starring at the black infected one.

Never twitched her ear when she considered that maybe the first infected dog hadn't called for backup, and that the great dane had arrived on its own. At this point in the quarrel, the ginger dog's leg was beginning to tire her out so much that when the first Infected dashed at her, she had to roll out of its way rather than jump. She stood back up, fur considerably darker from the puddles on the ground, just in time to hear the great dane's comment.
"Broken? Would a broken dog still be standing right now?!" she barked defiantly. She tried heavily to keep herself from wincing when she put weight on her weak back leg.

Marie snarled at the infected. Was she implying that she wanted to fight her? What a fool. The dog may be big but Marie could still kill her. Laughing at the uninfected dog, she dashed at her again. She was obviously getting tired out, the fight wouldn't last long.
"Let me kill this dog here, and I'll see if you're game enough to fight me!"

"Well, i can admit you aren't broken. Not yet in fact, but till when?" she mockingly barked at the uninfected. "I can see you haven't broke your tongue... It would have been nice to play with you, at an other time!", she said with a suggestive grin.
Turning to the other dog, she ask, seemingly dreaming: "Why would i wait, mmh? This wonderful scent of fear makes me so... hungryyy." The tone of her voice suddenly changed on this last word. She made few other steps towards them, drooling. The virus was acting up.

Never snarled fiercely, her patience had completely run out. They're just playing with me now! she thought, enraged. If there was one thing that could spark fury within the smaller dog, it was being underestimated. She was tired of being repeatedly knocked off her paws and pushed out of the way. As the wolf-like dog rushed towards her, she shot forward, teeth bared, aiming at its yellow-stained eyes.

Marie was surprised as the dog ran forwards. Ducking her head she narrowly missed her eye being gutted. "Did you forget dear? My blood is the end of you!" She attempted to knock out the dog's legs. In the corner of her eye she saw the other infected coming closer. She snarled at it. Marie was not willing to share.

Umbra stepped around them, coming slightly nearest and nearest, going behind a dog, then behind the other. The scent was still so exciting... The virus was continuing to act on her... She couldn't hold herself anymore, and targeting the nearest dog, she suddenly ran onto it, just noticing it was the black one. The virus just wanted game...

Never fell to the ground as the infected dog tripped her. Rather than getting up immediately as she would have normally, she let herself rest uncomfortably in a puddle of rainwater. In her stroke of enragement she had endangered herself by trying to draw her opponent's blood. The akita-mix groaned as she once again considered running away. When she finally tried to raise herself from the wet pavement, she realized her weak back leg was no longer responding to her body's commands and instead hurt worse than usual. She sat up, her limp leg outstretched. Her eyes suddenly widened as she watched the collision between the two infected dogs.
"Tch! Crazy- ng.. crazy animals..." she muttered, interrupted by a quick jolt of pain. Never knew she was vulnerable to another attack if she remained sitting in the open, so she crawled slowly towards a parked car on the street next to the dogs, intending to hide underneath it.

Marie smiled as her attack worked and the dog fell over. It didn't get up. Laughing she was about to attack it again when a huge force hit her. Sliding away she realized that it was that great dane. Snarling at it she got back up and slowly started circling it. She would use the dog's height against it. Luckily for Never Marie had forgotten about her. FOr now atleast.

Umbra came back on her steps after she had hit the infected, a mad grin on her face. On her way she noticed the other trying to get out and hide under a car, and she slightly panted, her tongue licking her sharp tooth. She focused back on the infected again, now this one was up again and had started to walk around her. She stayed quiet, ready for the surly incoming attack, not moving anything except her head and eyes, still wearing her mad grin. The virus was acting up, and the game was promising to be a challenge. As she liked it... Too bad that she didn't have had a run after the dog... It was always sooo better...

As Marie began circling the infected it stood still, only turning its head to look at her. It wore a mad grin and Marie snarled at it again. Fool was leaving itself open for an attack! Deciding to take the initiative Marie dashed forwards, but not close enough to get attacked and dashed back away. She kept running, hoping that the dog would chase her.

Never watched silently from under the parked car as the two infected dogs began to get more and more aggressive with each other. She felt a strike of hope when the wolf-like Infected started to run away.

With a surprising haste, Umbra answered to the other infected's attack, but she couldn't catch anything, her jaws slamming at few inches of the other dog. She almost began to run after her, but she restrained herself. It could be a trap after all, who could tell where this run would take her. And a hunt was a choice, not a need. And the infected was already far, Umbra was knowing that she would have an other chance an other day, except if this one intended to come back to her.
Her thoughts came back at the moment she had seen the uninfected trying to hide under a car. "No-one ever told you that there were nightmares around there, dear?", she snarled, still wearing her mad grin, stressing deviantly on the last word. Sometimes tricky games were even better than a simple hunt. "Or maybe you're just too broken, or too scared to answer?"

Marie snarled as the infected didn't chase her. Damn! Turning around she watched the infected refocus on the dog. Her dog. Trotting back she grinned at the dog. If it noticed her all the better. If not, then a sneak attack.
