(( Scruff Hopefully it's okay if I pop in ^^)) "Girls, girls, you're both pretty." A deep male voice rang out through the thunderstorm, screaming and bellowing. The weather wearing at the city as winds howled to the stars like the canines and wolves who were bound to the earth. The tripod walked on the street, long fur on his paws brushing the water that filled the street, though the male was seemingly unphased by the harsh weather. Three years of the world's most gruesome weather, a thunderstorm was the least of his problems. His wiry coat was happy to shield his skin below from the weather, his wiry whiskers keeping his face clear. Yellow eyes scanned the scene of the fight,a dog lay under a car and two infecteds circled one another on the attack. Had it not been for the normal dog clearly in the middle of this, and if one infected succeeded in killing the other... that dog would be in trouble. With a heavy sigh, a cocky grin spread to his lips, baring his teeth in an unfriendly fashion. Yellows eyes gleaming and odd ears laid against his skull. He was a large dog himself, not quite thirty inches to the shoulder, but close. He was massive himself over two feet. The male licked his lips taking a confident step forward. To much estrogen. Mix that with a virus and a cat fight ensues. The male growled inwardly at himself. Why hadn't he kept walking? Fluffy tail waved behind him, high above his back. His own personal war flag. Even with only three legs the male walked , feet almost always hugging the ground and in a sliding gait. Scruff was easily underestimated, what with a missing eye and leg and a scruffy appearance to boot, who wouldn't see him as just a mangy street mutt? Though, if one looked deeper, how many of them would truly wonder how he got such wounds? Battle scars he held, ones he'd hold for his entire life. A life he fully intended on living to the fullest and to a ripe old age. So why was he engaging the infecteds? He wasn't gallant or chivalrous by nature, and normally his kind was barred from attacking mere females. These weren't mere females though, these were what might be considered she devils, their yellows eyes holding only one difference from his, they were bumble bee style, with black. Not white. They also lacked sanity and clear heads, while he was able to keep his footing and his head. Though, his tactic of fighting helped, he was able to rip clean without getting blood on him, it just meant his attacks would be numerous, not deep. Some only ripping tufts of fur. Scruff's hackles raised in waves, lips curling in and forming bundles near his eye, scruff whiskers nearly brushing his cheek. "So ladies who first?"

((totally, Ridge! Since Scruff is in Risk's pack, I'm just gonna assume Never knows who he is and whatnot))
"I'm not afraid of you," Never growled back to the infected great dane. "Is it so hard to believe that I just don't want to die?" She felt confident enough to hassle the infected from shelter of the car. A dog that big wouldn't be able to crawl under to reach her, she figured. As she watched the two infected dogs' skirmish, a new figure caught her eye and a familiar voice erupted from the darkness. The ginger dog never thought she would be glad to see Scruff. Although she found the way he talked to the two infected females and his cocky attitude to be incredibly irritating, she knew his entrance would balance the situation. Two infecteds, two vulnerables. Never now had a better chance of escaping.
"I don't know why you would announce yourself like that though, idiot. Do you want to take on two giant infected dogs on your own?" she barked, half to herself.

Umbra let a loud laugh coming: "I see that you still have your sharp tongue! But i saw you, just think about how you would actually look like by now... But your scent was such i haven't been able to stay out of that!" She didn't really care about how sharp the dog's tongue could be anyway, her fun was elsewhere. Even if it's funny to tease her like that, she thought.
She jumped a bit when she suddenly heard an other voice ringing out about their prettiness. Looking at where the voice had came, she discovered an odd brown coated tripod wolfhound mix. An uninfected one she could tell, looking at his eyes. Or eye, she had to say, since it was obvious that his right eye was missing. However, and despite his injuries, he seemed to be one of a tough kind. She grinned deviously at him when she heard him asking who was going to him first between her and the other infected female. "Why, do you want some good time?" she asked, her grin widening while she was putting her tail aside.
Anyway her main objective was still the other infected female, who was coming back now she had noticed that Umbra hadn't followed her. She lowered her position, ready for the incoming attack.

Watching the fight once again LIKE A SIR
Lestrangue perched precariously on the ledge of a window and watched the fight unfolding beneath her. She wanted to fight, but she really shouldn't... Her orange eyes were unreadable behind the dark screen of her sunglasses. Lestrangue twitched her tail and kneaded the ledge with her claws, causing a few loose chunks of stone to fall down to the cold, unwelcoming ground. A flash of lighting illuminated the scene before her with frightening clarity; the vulnerable was underneath a car and two infecteds were advancing. Or had been. One of them was. Or was it? She couldn't tell. And then there was a tripod, yammering on about prettiness. Lestrangue wrinkled her snout; just the kind of male she'd hate. She began to feel the urge to make herself known, but should she? But there were two dogs below whom she could help... Her ruff began to fluff up, and she rose to her paws and barked three times into the night. Her barks were punctuated by a roll of thunder. She was unreachable to the dogs below; safe and sound on her little ledge.

((Scruf's line was awesome))
Marie snarled as the black dog noticed her and got ready for an attack. So much for that. Suddenly a male voice caught her attention. Looking around she found its source. A three legged dog was walking to them. She looked at its eyes and thought it was infected until she looked closer. Its eyes had white in them. She sneered at him, he had one eye and 3 legs, how did he think he had a chance? A memory surfaced in her head, another tripod not long ago. The memory faded and she looked closer at the dog. No, it was not the other one. Snapping her head out of those thoughts she turned back to the battle.

"I don't know why you would announce yourself like that though, idiot. Do you want to take on two giant infected dogs on your own?" Scruff rolled his eye. He was no knight in shining armor, but a mere thank you would have been nice. Despite the horrible timing, Scruff appeared to be somewhat relaxed, even a bit annoyed. Tripod took a step forward advancing on the two monstrous infecteds. "Not like you're one to talk Never. As far as I can tell you have two monster dogs on your paws. I'll make an entrance however I please." The dog barked over the thunder, good eyes looking towards the three yips. Oh fun. A spectator. As the other infected offered a 'good time' The one eyed male gave an equally sinister sneer. Yellow eye gleaming with malice, lips curling back to reveal pink gums and white fangs. His nose seemed to point to the sky as his skin pull together and drew into a tight layer. Wiry haired, hackles raised in a wave.
"Sure, I'm always up for a good time." The brown mutt snarled. He was in no way as fearsome or insane as the two infecteds, he doubted they'd even be intimidated by him. He was a large dog, thickly built with lank legs, but he was sane. To an extent. The tripod snarled and leaped at the infected, teeth making to tear flesh in strips. Metallic clips could be heard when the thunder decided to quite down.
The canine continued to leap in and out trying to tear skin, fur, turn the fae's ears to ribbons. Anything. Most of it was an act, a distraction. It seemed infecteds had tempers and the male played on that. The wiry mutt then leaped back, into an imaginary circle. He made a semi circle, snarling at the black dog. From there the canine turned tail and began engaging the other infected. Was he stupid to try and attack both? Oh yes, very stupid. He was trying to draw attention to him. His fangs continued to attack before leaping back into the invisible circle once more. His head turned up to the corgi in the window.
"You coming down or do I need to pass the popcorn?" The male howled over the storm. Shaking his pelt down to his tail water droplets flew from his pelt. Yellow eye warning the two females as well as challenging them. His lips curled back once more in a sneer, a savage snarl rumbling under the thick fur of his neck. He began another circle, this time extending the circle around both huge females. He had been the biggest dog around at one point, he evidently wasn't that dog. Why did most infecteds have to be so... huge? Why couldn't it be a chihuahua for once? Let itself tire and kill itself? Scruff growled again, the end turning into an almost cooing laughter at the two. "Is this you're idea of fun?" The male mocked, flashing his fangs, ears pinned tightly against his skull.

Enjoying the Action [[suggesstively]]
Lestrangue's ears flicked all around her, like miniature sattelites. She watched the tripod single - handedly take on the two infecteds. Idiot. What'd he think he was, some kinght in shining armor? Honestly. Lest's entire pelt was rising with anticipation; every hair on her body was erected, partially because of the excitement, partially the large amount of electricity in the air due to the lightning. Lest's ears snapped forwards when the male addressed her. A challenge! Lestrangue cautiously darted over the window ledge and free - fell about ten feet, before catching onto another ledge and repeating the motion until she was on top of a dumpster. Lestrangue paced the length of the green, metal object, claws clicking loudly. From her throat ripped a chorus of snarls, growls, barks and howls. She shoved her ears forwards and kept her tail erect in a show of dominance. "Oh, I think I can get it myself, thank you very much," she sneered at the tripod. [/color] "Now is it just me, or do you need some help?" Without waiting for an answer, Lestrangue leapt down from the Dumpster and streaked over to the male. She kept inside the boundaries of his shadow, darting out occasionally to nip at the Infected's heels. She drew blood a few times, and relied on the male to protect her. She barely brushed his belly fur.

Never ignored Scruff's response. Although she hated to admit it, she was glad he had arrived. It's still two huge Infecteds against one though... Maybe I can get help, she thought. Before the akita-mix could move, she noticed another dog's high-pitched barking spark over the thunder. She couldn't exactly see where it was coming from at her position under the car, but the small dog came into her sight anyway when it leapt down next to Scruff.
"You've ..got to be kidding me," Never muttered to herself as she watched the small corgi attempt to fight the infected dogs alongside Scruff. "That little thing is going to be killed." With that, Never inched out from under the parked car, intending to sneak off and find help; her limp leg hanging behind her.

Umbra shocked her head in every sides when the tripod dog leaped at her and turned out her ears in ribbons. However she didn't attack back, but jumped on the car, snarling. "I'm ok with you wanting to kill me, however i don't have any grief towards you yet. Just think at something, before you do: how do you think that your limping friend there would look like, by now, without my first intervention?", she asked sarcastically.
She then stepped down on the other side of the car, her ears, or whatever left of them, slightly bleeding, and turned her head towards the other infected. She began to walk, slowly at the beginning, put taking more and more speed step by step, a widening grin on her muzzle. The virus tide was growing back again, and her intentions were clear.

((ohhh nooooooo))
Marie snarled as the dogs attacked her. They attacked in an infuriating way, nipping at her then jumping back. They hardly damaged her but she couldn't catch them. She tore herself from the fight to get a better chance and-slipped and fell.
What? Looking up she cursed, where was she? Marie noticed an infected advancing on her, obviously wanting to fight. Getting up she snarled, she had no memory of the last hour. S@*t, she hated when that happened!

Scruff gave a wiry haired, pearly toothed grinned to Lestrangue. "Oh it's never my place to refuse help from such a nice little lady." The male smirked good naturedly at the small corgi fighting by his side, nipping in his shadow. After each of her nips he added a snarl and a slash of his own fangs as if to keep the infecteds from getting anywhere near him or the tiny dog. Though it seemed the small female could care for herself. Sure he might be considered a meat shield and was probably more vulnerable than most, yet that never deterred the male from his goal. Whipping his head he saw Never inch away. Time to cover her tail.
"Hey corgi girl, think you can hold yourself for a minute?" A flashing smile and the male was off, leaving the girl for herself. He wasn't leaving her blind nor defenseless the fae was fast and he was quite sure that anyone with her attitude would be able to hold her own for the mere moments he was gone. If not there was no reason she should be living in such an overrun town.
"Without your first intervention? Dead in a few more seconds and I'm pretty sure she fits my list of acquaintances, I'm not one who has many 'friends'." The male smirked sliding before the infected fae. "And though I truly hate morals, let's just think of all the other mindless suckers you could create and those you could kill? Though personally I'm more worried about the former. No need to decrease my chances of a long, happy life." Sarcasm dripped in his words and a growl breached through his clenched teeth.
Before launching an attack though, he his head whipped to Marie, a wicked grin forming on his features, as if placing her as a 'you're next' thing. With that though, the male launched himself at the large infected female, not bothering with useless teeth slashing. If it was going to be one on one, he wasn't going to fight fair. The male leaped mid air, curling in on himself and launching his full body weight at her, that plus the force of his jump and he was a cannonball of wiry fur and muscle. He than used the large fae to push off of out of reach, twisting in the air to land on all threes in an almost catlike fashion. The jolt of the shock of landing traveling through a shiver up his arms and ending in the newly raised fur along his spine. A guttural snarl launching itself from his muzzle. Without another moment's hesitation the male rammed the female with the shoulder of his amputated leg as if trying to finish the job of making her fall over, a rusted, broken bumper on the car behind her his intended landing space. It seemed sharp. Enough.

((sorry for the wait!))
Never flinched when the large infected dog jumped on top of the car as she slinked out from under it. For a minute she thought the car might break under the great dane's weight. The car heaved upwards as the dog stepped down, and Never was surprised an alarm didn't go off.
Just ahead of her, Never could see a clear alleyway with a sewer lid at the end. All she needed to do was get to the sewers, and she could possibly find someone to help Scruff and the smaller corgi. She looked back once more at the battle that all four canines were involved in. The ginger dog suddenly felt heavy with guilt in leaving the two non-infected dogs, who had come to her aid, to fend for themselves. What if I don't make it back in time? Maybe I should stay and fight, she thought. She growled at her own indecision, knowing that she was wasting time just thinking about it.
"Are you going to be okay, Scruff?" she called.
((haha i have no idea what to make Never do xD ))

The virus was now entirely back into his full activeness state in Umbra’s rotting brain. As she was gaining speed towards the other infected, she began to turn blind and deaf to anything else around, only focusing on her target. Nothing else around had importance anymore. ONLY her target. Her eyes were glowing even more if it was even possible, looking like two lamps in the dark thunderous night. And her widely opened mouth was letting appearing an impressive row of sharp tooth, dirtied with saliva mixed with blood.
Suddenly she felt a heavy weight hitting her from nowhere, making her almost falling while she was running towards the other infected. Immediately followed by an other hit, even stronger than the previous one. She lost balance with a yelp of pure rage, which soon turned in pain as she crashed on a sharp broken bump. She lifted her up, pretty stunned by the shock, slowly bleeding and feeling a painful point between two of her left side ribs. Turning her head towards the tripod, she grinned again. She wouldn’t be one to let her being molested without reacting. If this one wanted to fight, so she had to welcome him with her best. The adrenaline was flowing on her whole body –and the virus in her brain- while she prepared to fight this other target.

((I thought Scruff attacked Marie .-. ))
Marie snarled at the other infected, and noticed a normal dog advancing at her also. Standing still she let them come closer, going to attack them or dodge. When suddenly the male lunged forwards and the female walked into his way. Marie dodged out of her way as she fell and laughed as the dog fell onto a sharp thing. Backing up, she gave them space. The other infected obviously wanted to fight the normal dog. That was okay by her.
Slowly sneaking her way around the pair she followed the uninfected scent. It led under a car. Crouching down she looked under, and saw an orange dog. Smiling wickedly at it she sat down to wait for it to bolt.

"I'll be fine as long as you can get the hell out of here without getting bit." The dog snarled determination flickering in his sole yellow eye. He made more, smaller lunges at Umbra, white fangs aiming to slash strips of skin and fur, piece by piece, from the infected. His goal being to either slowly bleed her to death - something that could take very long considering the infected might not realize this until it's to late - or lunge at her again and have the female impale herself. So the male was reduced to going around in a semi circle. He couldn't completely circle her without letting Marie out of his sight. There was also a very limited area for peripheral vision if his back was ever turned to one of them. When he would have time to react on his blind side he'd either be bitten or dug to deep, resulting in the consumption of some infected blood. His attacks were also very limited in his attempt to not screw himself over.
Though as one of the infecteds made its way to the car never was under, Scruff sighed. Luck wasn't on anyone's side today. Except maybe the infecteds, if Scruff's own opinions were left out of the equation. SO Scruff subjected himself to the discomfort of coming into close contact with the infected, fighting the tensing of his muscles to spring away from such contact. He leaped towards her, faked a snarl and slash at her cheek and leaned under her, arching his back in hopes of throwing her to her side in surprised. Claustrophobia came soon though, and he forced himself away, running madly from the close contact.
His eyes gave a malicious glint as he saw Marie crouching down by Never. He than began to sprint as hard as his three legs could carry him, leaping at her from behind, and with any luck, using her as a bouncing pad, efficiently irritating her. There was no lie in the fact that Scruff had a way with irritating other canines. Most of them being specifically females. He just had that effect on people. A dull, but resounding thud came from the car roof as the thin, deteriorating hood groaned under his massive weight. A cheshire grin spread on his stout muzzle at both infected females.
"I really thought you two would be more fun." He clucked his tongue in disapproval. " But I think I'll stick around if you two think you can handle it." There was an air of cockiness and challenge as his crooning tone turned from mocking growl and slowly edged to a savage snarl. His tongue flicked from the barrier his white teeth made, as if licking his lips in anticipation for a great meal. Or in this case, fight. He was virtually unharmed, and he flaunted this fact as both black females seemed to have suffered at least some wounds from himself and Never. He flaunted his bloodless flank, boasting his chest. The air around him seemed to vibrate with the 'You can't touch this' idea.
