Joel shrugged, and walked to a patch of light. Clotho grumbled, shaking more water then following her companion. As they stood, it was clear that they weren't infected. No yellow eyes; no white tongues, since they stuck theirs out, and no emaciated appearance as most Infected Dogs would have.
The two stared silently at white female, who seemed to act as the leader of the little group. Clotho narrowed her eyes at the lanky looking Borzoi. "I sense you are not leader, no? " She replied with a slight edge. She didn't like their suspicion and tension. It should have been obvious by now! They could talk straight and had normal voices that didn't erupt into snarls or jibberish. Plus their eyes weren't yellow. She snorted, answering her own question before turning back to the Samoyed.
"I am Clotho, as you may have heard from my young friend Joel here." She nodded to him. He blinked at the group of dogs, very tense. "..Or you may have heard from the rumors of the 'witch' around thee border of the Cursed Ones' lands." She added. Dogs referred to her as the Alley Witch, since her appearance and behavior resembled that of what one would think of as a witch.
Joel narrowed his eyes at all of them. The Borzoi wanted to send a warning, but in his strange voice he startled Joel more than he tried warn him. The second female looked defensive, as if she thought they were still infected. He snorted in annoyance, scooting a little closer to Clotho's side, ears flattened.

(I'm gonna assume that Snowest is the higher rank since she's been in the pack longer right?)
Snowest watched as the two made their way over into the light. Luckily as she had thought, they weren't infected. Changing her stance to become less defensive she listened to them say who they were. They seemed annoyed. Why should they be annoyed? Did they really expect that anyone would take even the slightest chance of them being infected? "Sorry for our suspicion, but we cannot take any chances. Welcome Clotho. I'm Snowest." Noticing the male seeming still annoyed Snowest decided to cut right to the chase, no more petty introductions. "Why are you two here?" Her voice only had a tint of defensiveness. She looked at them calmly, but inside she was kind of freaking out. She tried to squash it down, and was mostly successful. If those two had been infected.. best not to think about it.

Shadow didn't really ease himself much as the two unknown dogs stepped into the light. Yes, they weren't infected. But every uninfected dog wasn't necessarly animated by good intentions, and until he would get proof of the contrary. And anyway, he wasn't one to easily ease with others. He was part of Risk's pack since a month or so now, and haven't even eased yet with some of the pack's dogs. Maybe he had been a loner for too long... He shook his head, it wasn't the moment to get distracted.
He looked at the unknown female as she was noticing that he wasn't the leader there, listening to the slight edgy tone. Were they annoyed? Shadow might had been in there not for a really long time, but it wasn't his first patrol, and some of the other dogs were sometimes quick to snap at anything suspicious coming, even more when it was coming that way. "Snapping first, asking last" was a pretty common behaviour in these troubled times. Talking about behaviours, he was beginning not to like that much the annoyed one coming from the unknown dogs -or well, Clotho and Joel, as they presented themselves-. Maybe the fact they knew the Witch was explaining why they had found their way in the sewers, but being annoyed to a patrol because they were suspicious wasn't called for. Shadow stayed silent, apparently calm, in a standing posture. If Snowest would consider them welcomed, the decision was up to her. But if they would start to represent a menace, Shadow was ready to jump straight at them, without even a warning. For now, he was awaiting to hear their answer to Snowest's question.

As the two intruders advanced further so that they stood in a lighter spot, it became apparent neither were infected, with that she could feel the tension of the patrol lower slightly as they took a less defensive stance. Kismet made her way forward further so that she stood only slightly behind the other two, it was obvious she was not ranked as highly as the female in front of her but she did not want these newcomers to make the assumption she was some weak low ranking dog.
Infected or not really didn't make much of a difference to an immune dog, so her opinion on these two had not really differed from what it had previously been. Glancing to the side as the lead of the patrol requested a reason for there being here, she stood in silence as they awaited a response.

(Yes, that's what I thought) Clotho relaxed slightly. Only slightly. "We want to join your pack." She said without hesitation, her tail tip twitching. From the body language of the other two, and the way they were looking at them, the two weren't making a very good first impression. The female face-pawed herself in her mind. She really had to think before acting first, as Joel had chided her plenty of times. Of course the running would have made them suspicious! "Things have gotten worst above.. My friend had to fight off more than usual.. Very lucky he is Blessed." She said, smiling at Joel who shrugged, implying the fact he was immune. "We can prove our worth to this pack.. I specialize in herbal remedies if you do not have a healer. Joel is well trained in fighting and would add to your fighters..." She held her breath. She shouldn't have to worry. Joining Risk's pack was merely a choice. She and Joel had survived the streets crawling with Infecteds, then they would be fine if they were declined.. But as she had said.. Things have gotten worst above..

So they wanted to join Risk's pack. What a surprise she thought. Well they could have done a better job at it. Snowest wasn't exactly sure what to do, they did sound like they could be useful, but they might need to be watched. "You could help Sheperd, and immune fighters are always needed. Why don't you come with us, we'll take you to Risk." Waiting perhaps for an answer she began to walk back to the inner sewers. Hopefully this would all go well.

Shadow silently listened to Clotho as she was telling what the two runners wanted, and what they were able to do. It made him thinking about what he had done in the past, what he had rarely told to anyone and the pack didn't know... He shocked his head, that wasn't the moment to think about it. Some things were better forgotten. Slightly, his gaze went over Clotho to focus onto Joel when he heard the grey and white male was immune, then coming back to the female. Remedies were always useful, as the outside world was getting worse and worse. There was less dogs, even less humans out in the streets, and every day was bringing its flow of new infected or dead. He slightly nodded at Snowest's words. He hadn't been with the pack for long, but he had learnt to appreciate others' company, even if he was far less than talkative. "Welcome into the undergroud, i'm Shadow", he said, his odd voice slightly and strangely echoing on the tunnel.

Kismet stood there quietly as the intruders announced they were seeking to join the pack. Having two new dogs would benefit the pack greatly she thought, especially as one was an immune. She glanced over at Snowest as she replied to this, it seemed she also saw the benefits of these newcomers. As the members of her patrol addressed themselves she dipped her head slightly and did the same. "And im Kismet, welcome." She spoke quieter then she probably should have, but she suspected they had heard her anyway.

Clotho nodded to the other two. "Pleased too meet you, Shadow and Kismett." She turned back to Snowest and followed after her. Perhaps they had only let her and Joel in for their own benefit? Not too many dogs skilled in herbs nowadays, and Immunity in beings was very rare. She realized with a jolt that most of her herbs were back up in her old hideout. But she would find a way to settle that later.
Meanwhile, Joel wasn't getting anymore comfortable. They were accepted. Great. Atleast that's what he should've been thinking. He felt selfish for being dissapointed at Snowest accepting them. But he thought of Clotho, and as his older sister figure wasn't as fortunate as him to be Immune. If it's for her safety, then fine.He decided to himself. He had to put his antisocial nature aside and try to get along in a pack again.
