*enter Coffee, female* Coffee stepped out of the lake waters and gave herself a good shake. There was nothing like a good swim. She had to rinse off the rest of that almost-faded dye anyways, and this was a great opportunity. It was right next to her territory. The lake was meant to be shared between Mooli's and her pack. Coffee didn't mind. As long as she could use the lake, she was okay with it. She fetched the bag of dye that was conveniently hidden some leaps and bounds away and did her best to recolor her fur. As the dye was applied to her nose, she sneezed and quickly dipped her nose in the lake water. No sense in getting dye up her nose. She snuck a peek at the sun's position in the sky. It was 3 quarters of the way until dusk. Time to hunt supper down. Coffee ran off into her forest-- her forest--and started sniffing for meat. Fresh, hot meat.

FionaA mostly black shadow was walking through the wood boarding the pretty large lake, north from the town. As the shadow came nearer, the silhouette of a female doberman became more obvious. A black with brown markings one, not really big, but not small either. In a word, average. Still there was something strange in this silhouette... Fiona sighed. She had been coming from the town, taking a pretty fast pace to begin with, but which turned slowing when her rear paws slightly began to ache. She was feeling tired, but on the other hand she knew that she wouldn't have stayed in town for any longer. Everything was turning out being more dangerous day after day, with infected roaming around. Even the suburbs were not spared now. Attacks were multiplying in houses, people was leaving, and more and more houses were now empty. Empty of their normal inhabitants at least... Maybe the less frequented woods would offer her the protection she needed. She continued walking, waddling ahead, her now heavy belly rocking from side to side under her at each step. She wanted to stop walking, to lie there, to rest, just for a dozen minutes. But she couldn't allow herself to do so for now, she had at least to find a good place for that. She was tensed, jumping at every strange noise she was hearing. And not to say that since she had never been outside much, even less in the woods, everything sounded odd to her ears. Most of the animals were staying out of view, except a doe who suddenly appeared ahead of her, then disappeared on the other side of the track. Deciding that she was feeling kind of hungry, she started to hunt. At least she had proved herself she wasn't bad at that. Though in her actual shape, it would be easier to find a prey than to catch it... She didn't need a big prey anyway, her crowded abdomen wouldn't allow her to eat much. But before she could go further, the copses near her started to move: some kind of animal was coming that way. Fiona prepared herself to catch it, lowering her body, and as soon as the animal appeared she jumped on it. Only to stop dead when she realized what it was: a dog of some kind. She quickly stepped back in a defensive and cautious stance, hoping that the other dog -a female, taller than Fiona- wouldn't mind her in a bad way.

Coffee saw the dog. The dog's stance didn't seem very friendly, but she made her face look like she hadn't noticed it and was not aware at all. Coffe kept a very wary eye on the other dog, just in case it decided to attack. She wasn't going to give up her prey now to a possible false alarm. That rabbit smelled very fat and succulent. Mmm, she could almost hear the blood pounding through those ears. But that's not what she wanted. She wanted fresh, juicy meat and bones, maybe with fat clinging to her food. That sounded great.

Seeing that the other dog would likely not to attack her after what she had done, Fiona eased a bit, still in a somewhat cautious stance, making few steps backwards. After all, she hadn't only her own life to protect. "Sorry i jumped on you," she coyly apologized. "I don't know much about the forest, and when i heard noises and saw the bushes moving, i've thought it could be some prey... But it was you." She didn't add anything about her state and the fact that ambushing preys was easier for now than having to run after. Nothing that the other dog could take for vulnerabilities, even if there were some obvious facts. She took a look around her, not so sure what more to say. Somewhere in her head, an idea began to emerge. "Are these woods your territory? she asked the other female, still on a pretty shy tone.
