It was night, and anyone in their right minds would not be out and about. Walking down the middle of the street was a huge dog. She had a confused look on her face, and she walked submissively. She looked around herself with confusion.
Hadn't she just been in her bed at home? Where was she, what had happened? Jumbled thoughts passed through her head, and she started desperately looking around for anyone as she walked through unfamiliar streets. She didn't love her cruel human, but he was all she had and now that was gone.
Kismet wandered through the streets with her head held low below her shoulders. She didn't really like being out in the streets at night, she was always paranoid she would run into trouble. But tonight she was more relaxed then normal, she wanted to explore more of the city and her curiosity had caused her to wander away from the sewers.
She lifted her muzzle so she could feel the cold breeze on her face, smiling slightly to herself.

Peaches stretched, tonight was crisp, but still warm enough that she wouldn't shiver. She ruffled her fur and yawned. She was at perfect peace laying there. She didn't care about infecteds or humans or anything. This was a night just like back in the wheat fields. She missed them. Being lonely wasn't that bad. You didn't have to worry about other dogs coming after you. Her cherry eyes stared up at the sky. She loved the stars.
Even though everything seemed normal, Tabitha was still wary of the night. The time where infecteds were most active. Every time a sound was made her fur would stand on end. She sat against a wall in an ally, carefully keeping an eye out for infecteds.
As she walked Marie grew more and more uncomfortable. Things like this did not happen. She did not magically transport to a new place! She began to grow frantic and started running down the street passing many alleys. Luckily for her there were no cars around. Out of the corner of her eye as she ran past she saw another dog. Stopping she turned back towards it. Calling out to the brown dog with a relieved look on her face, "Hey! can you-" she stopped short, what if the dog was mean? Perhaps it wouldn't be a good idea to get its attention.
Her thought was too late though, as the brown dog had surely heard her.

She turned her head round as she heard a dog call out from a distance, was it talking to her? Her grey eyes grew wide as she saw it was infected and she stood there contemplating what to do next. This dog looked just as shocked as she did, she almost felt sorry for it, infecteds she had seen in the past always where the same, angry and psychotic. But her face only showed a scared and confused dog, not a monster. "Ugh..." She paused briefly "Hello?"
Tabitha pulled herself deeper into the shadows, and infected! It can't see her, who knows what'll happen! What was that brown one thinking, getting closer to an infected was almost suicide. Something wasn't right for sure, the infected hadn't even attacked yet. Surely it will, going to soon.
Marie shied away when the dog noticed her. It seemed to be shocked to see her. Was it going to attack her? Marie was about to run away when the dog called out a hello. Marie debated what to do, and eventually, making sure not to look the dog in the eye said, "Where are we?"
Hopefully the dog would at least tell her where they were, if she knew where she was then maybe Marie could find her way back home!
Kismet continued to stare cautiously at the dog, keeping her distance. She was surprised when it asked where it was, was it playing a trick? She didn't want to run, but she sure wasn't going any closer. "Were in a quite part of the city" She called. "Are you lost?" She didn't know why she asked her that. If she was what would she do? Happily guide her pack to her infected buddies?
She looked around her desperately, trying to think of what to do, looking in the shadows she saw not one but two dogs, luckily not infected. She stared at them with a kind of 'please help me, what the hell should i do' kinda look before looking back at the confused dog.
The dog said that they were in a city. Well, Marie already knew that. But what city were they in? She'd have to press harder, and hope that the dog didn't get mad at her for it.
"Yeah, but what city? Do you know its name or anything?" Marie really hoped that the dog knew the name of the city. She saw that dog looking around, and fixating on something. Looking where the dog had looked Marie saw another dog. This one was looking at Marie intently. Lowering her ears Marie swiftly looked away. There she saw another dog looking at them. Three dogs! Marie started to get more nervous, they could easily overtake her, and she had nowhere to run.
She looked at the other dog as it rose slowly from its hiding spot, she felt bad now if it wasn't for her she wouldn't have been seen. She turned back to the first dog, who looked puzzled. "Um, im sorry i don't know the name of the city." She barked. She wasn't lying about that, she surprised herself as she said that and her mind drifted for a second. "Were you with anyone before?" She called again, she wanted to make sure no other infected dogs where going to be looking for her.
Darn, the dog didn't know the name of the city. Well, she had bigger problems than that, one of the dogs that had been hiding had stood up. Marie too a step back, but she was just stepping closer to the other dog. Then the brown dog asked Marie if she had been with anyone. They were obviously going to attack her, they wanted to know if she had any back-up!
Attempting to sound like she wasn't lying Marie said, "Yeah, I-I was with some dog, I lost them though.."
